For those that don't already follow you over on Instagram, tell us a little about yourself and your beautiful family?
My name is Kayla, I live in Northern NSW with my almost 15 month old little girl Vera, my partner Connor and our little dog Bonte. We spend our days running 3 businesses and being parents!
We're so excited that the Kayla x Chekoh Clip Carrier is online now! What was the inspiration behind the design?
So I went with the terry towelling carrier because terry towelling is my favourite material ever and I thought it just has to be a Carrier! It's cosy and comfortable but also trans-seasonal so you can wear it in Winter/Summer. Then we went with a super across-all-fields beige tan because everyone loves a neutral but if you're a colour lover you can pair it with some colour and it just works with everything.
How has babywearing helped you as a busy mama?
Babywearing has SAVED me as a working mum, I have worn her since she came out of the womb and so many days I've worked while holding her. I honestly don't know what I would have done without it because I was able to breastfeed her in it as well. I used to go out and do grocery shops when she was little and she would nap. Oh and travelling - that was a saviour! So I honestly don't know what I would do without babywearing, I would probably have to grow a third arm haha.
What are some of the little joys you have experienced since being Mum to Vera?
Motherhood has been so amazing. Obviously it has its hard days but it is so much more incredible than I could have dreamed. My favourite part is probably just watching her face light up over little things, getting to live the simple life through her and the things that make her so happy - it grounds me. It brings me back to what is important.
Thank you so much to everyone who's shown so much support and who's loved the Carrier. I can't wait for you to get your hands on it and love it as much as Vera and I do. It is honestly the best thing you will invest in.
A comfy Carrier.
