For the 2.0 Clip Carrier shoot, we wanted somewhere new and fresh!
This studio recently opened up on the Sunshine Coast and we thought it would be the perfect backdrop for our beautiful colours (including a few new ones coming soon!)
Katie & Brandi - wear the Jett 2.0 and the upcoming Dune 2.0
When our location and talented photographer Kate are secured, we start our search for the perfect Mama and Papa models. For this shoot we found the most beautiful real parents from the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and even as far as Byron Bay (thank you for driving Katie)!

Next up, the shopping!
Our founder Krystal jumps online and curates an outfit list that is perfectly suited to each model and each carrier colour. All of the outfits for this shoot had us wanting to *add to cart* for ourselves.
When shoot day rolls around, we are ready to go!
But first, snacks because we had two huge days of shooting this time round.
Photographer Kate of @katerosefolk capturing all of the how-to's, lifestyle and e-commerce images we had on our shot lists.
Then the marketing girlies get on the tools to create some social magic and film video for educational tutorials, fun BTS and of course - reels and TikToks!

We get our models to strike a pose and feel beautiful while enjoying the hands-free goodness that is babywearing in a Chekoh Baby Carrier.

Transitional TikToks, trending audio, fitchecks and laughs are always found on set!
After the two days of shooting are done and dusted, we pack up and roadtrip back to our North Brisbane HQ while Kate gives us a sneak peek of some images.
While we wait for the rest of the content to arrive or be created in-house, we asked all of our Mama models the following three questions...
What is the best thing about babywearing?
Maddy:
The best thing about babywearing is the incredible bond it creates between you and your baby. It’s like having them snuggled up to you all day, and it’s such a close, special feeling.
Katie:
Everything! Most importantly, the closeness to my baby and having two hands free to wrangle my toddler while the baby sleeps.
Brandi:
You get to be close and bond with baby, while also being able to hold your desperately needed coffees.
Sophia:
Best thing about baby wearing - breastfeeding on the go and in public spaces. It’s much easier than having to sit down when your baby gets older and heavier to breastfeed. Also getting to be so close to your Bub all the time.
Molly:
Oh my gosh there are just far too many benefits to even list here! But my fave thing would definitely be the fact that it allows me to be so close to my little cherub whilst still giving me the freedom to get on with my day! Especially handy when I have to chase around my wild toddler! Plus gotta love those carrier naps, my little one snoozes the best in her Chekoh!
Which is your favourite Chekoh Carrier?
Maddy:
My favourite Chekoh Carrier is definitely the clip carrier. I was nervous to baby wear but it’s really user friendly and comfortable.
Katie:
The wrap for the early days and the green cord clip 2.0 (sorry don’t know the exact name) but loved it at the shoot!
Brandi:
The Clip Carrier 2.0 in the new delicious earthy Almond.
Sophia:
My son lived in the wrap when he was first born so that would have to be my favourite. I have the best newborn memories in the carrier.
Molly:
My Clip 2.0 in that luxe soft cord, looks incredible with all my outfits and is soooo comfy!
What is one piece of advice you have for new parents?
Maddy:
Trust your instincts and don’t be too hard on yourself. Parenting is a learning process, and nobody has all the answers. So listen to your gut, take it one day at a time, and know that you’re doing an amazing job!
Katie:
If you are worried that you aren’t doing it right you are not alone…every parent is out there fumbling their way through and doing the best they can. We are all our babies need. Oh and you will sleep again - until then… baby wear! 💕
Brandi:
Surrender - parenting is beautiful and hard, it looks different for everyone and you’re doing great!
Sophia:
If you have friends or family coming over when you first give birth and don’t want everyone holding your baby, wear them! Haha.
Molly:
Easier said than done, but truly soak it all in (the good and the bad) time flies and before you know it your sweet little bubs is bossing you around and demanding ice cream at 5am lol!
