We caught up with the gorgeous Townsville based Mama of two to chat all things parenthood, babywearing and more!
Tell us a little bit about you and your family?
I’d like to say we’re a goofy, loving, adventurous and happy family. We have a beautiful 3, almost 4 year old daughter Layla and a 4 month old son Vinny.
What has been the best thing about becoming a Mama?
Being able to watch my beautiful little babes grow, learn and start to become their own little person. I love watching their personalities start to show 🤍
And what was the one thing you wish you knew earlier on?
Enjoy all of the moments when they’re small!
They grow way too quick, so just take it all in while you can.
Do you have a piece of advice to the new Mama’s and Mama’s to be out there?
Sometimes it can take a village to help raise children. Don’t be scared to ask for help or advice when you need it, you’re not alone, and you don’t need to do it alone 🤍Your top 3 newborn must haves?
- Of course my Chekoh baby carrier!- Cushii pillow, I use it everyday with bub.
- Double zipper rompers!
What do you like to do for ‘you time’?
I like to go to the gym, it’s a really great way to release any stress or anxiety that I may have. I also love to just slip into the tub and sit quietly with my thoughts, that’s until I feel a tiny human climb in not long after lol.How has babywearing helped you and when/where is your favourite to wear your little one?
It’s really allowed me to basics things like go to the grocery shop and do shopping with my two bubs, without any stress of not having enough hands to do everything. I also love wearing it around the house as my little boy Vinny loves being close to me, so now I’m able to do any cleaning that may need doing with him on my chest.
What’s next for you and your family?
Me and my amazing partner Clark are finally getting married next year in March!
And he also graduates this year as a physiotherapist. So some very exciting things happening in the next year or so 🤍
