Clip Carrier

Currently we only recommend a chest-to-chest or back carry for our Clip Carriers.

We are looking into making this possible!

If opting for a forward facing suitable carrier, please note that there are current recommendations that baby only be worn in this position for a maximum of 15-20 minutes at a time.

Ultimately we believe that chest-to-chest is still best as this allows baby to rest against you when needed, prevents over-stimulation and helps promote healthy spine and hip development.

To shop the Clip Carrier 2.0 collection, click here.

Our Clip Carriers are adjustable at the waist (120cm waistband) and shoulders and are suitable up to approximately an Australian women's size 22 OR men’s size XXXL.

The Clip Carrier 2.0 allows adjustable wear from 3.2kgs+.

For our original Clip Carrier design, we recommend use from 4 months AND 5kgs, unless pairing with our newborn Size Clip accessory. With the Size Clip added, wear can commence from approximately 3kg+.

If you or your baby have any health concerns, please consult with your paediatrician or doctor before beginning wear.

The Clip Carrier 2.0 allows adjustable wear up to 20.4kg.

For our original Clip Carrier design, we recommend a weight range up to 15kgs or approximately 2 years old.

This will ensure a comfortable and safe carry for both you and Baby.

Our Original Clip Carriers are made from an exclusive, in-house bamboo & linen fabric blend.

The Corduroy Clip Carriers are made with 100% cotton corduroy.

The new Velvet Clip Carriers are made with 100% cotton velvet.

The waist and shoulder straps on all Clip Carriers are also padded for added comfort and support.

Our Clip Carriers are soft and provide both a front and back carry style to see you through your pregnancy journey.

If wearing during pregnancy, ensure that the waistband of the Carrier is above your bump and not below.

We believe there are so many benefits to babywearing during pregnancy, however as always, please consult with your health care professional to see if this is a suitable option for you.

The Chest Strap is the ultimate accessory for additional shoulder support and great for back carries with your Chekoh Clip Carrier.

This accessory can also be used for those who prefer straight 'H' style straps (instead of an 'x') at the back when carrying chest-to-chest.

Can be used on both the original and 2.0 Clip Carrier designs.

No, the Size Clip is not required for the Clip Carrier 2.0.

The Clip Carrier 2.0 features a new adjustable waistband that has 3 sizing positions to suit the length and weight of your baby.

Different sizes can be created by adjusting the position of the press studs found on the inside of the waist belt.

Our Wrap, Sling and OG Clip Carriers have proudly been deemed 'Hip Healthy' by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute so you can carry with confidence.

We only endorse and promote safe wear and provide safety guidelines and instructions with every Carrier.

All of our Carriers are packed into a 100% biodegradable garment bag, so they're fresh and clean for you to wear upon arrival.

If you'd like to give your Clip Carrier a quick wash before use, opt for a cold hand wash (no bleach!) and line dry in the shade.

When washing your Clip Carrier, we recommend popping it inside the Chekoh Cotton Wash Bag it arrived in to prevent tangles.

We also recommend washing your Clip Carrier separately for the first wash, just to ensure the colours are completely colourfast as some darker prints and colours will release a small amount of dye in the first wash.

If ever in doubt, please refer to the care instructions printed on the tag of your Clip Carrier.

Baby Carriers are classified as 'Low Cost Assistive Technology' and can be recommended directly by your health care practitioner if required and where suitable.

We recommending contacting your health care practitioner and NDIS directly to confirm this.

Wrap carrier

We recommend using your Chekoh Wrap from 3kgs, so right from the beginning.

Babywearing provides the most womb-like environment your little one could be in - all while providing you with hands-free ease!

If your newborn is under 3kg, born prematurely, or has any health concerns, please consult with your paediatrician or doctor before beginning wear.

We recommend a weight range up to 8-10kgs or approximately 8-12 months old (you will find most of your wear will occur in the first 6-8 months).

This will ensure a comfortable carry for both you and baby.

If your baby is bigger or older than this we recommend opting for one of our other Carrier styles.

Check out our Clip and Sling Carriers.

Our Wrap Carriers are suitable up to an Australian women's size 24 or men's size XXXL. With a soft and completely adjustable fit, the Wrap Carrier will gently hug your figure and provide optimal comfort for both you and baby.

Our Wraps are also one of the shortest styles available at approximately 4m length, so our petite wearers will also find a comfortable fit without extra added bulk.

Not sure if the Wrap Carrier is the right option for you and your baby?

Read more about your options here.

Yes, as you tie your Wrap, your baby sits high on your chest.

Our fabrics are also super soft and the weight of the carry will be distributed evenly across your shoulders, not low or near your pelvic area.

Please do take extra care when tying your Wrap and keep your own wellbeing in mind when babywearing.

You certainly can, and we encourage it!

Our carriers are fully adjustable, so always ensure you have baby in view and keep their airways clear at all times.

We recommend a seated position for safety.

If you wish, you can also remove baby and utilise your carrier as a discreet feeding cover while on-the-go.

We live and breathe all things babywearing and your little ones safety is our number one priority.

Our Wrap Carriers have proudly been deemed 'Hip Healthy' by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute so you can carry with confidence.

We only endorse and promote safe wearing and provide safety guidelines and instructions with every Carrier.

To ensure you feel confident wearing safely, we provide easy to follow video tutorials and offer FREE one-on-one video consults with our babywearing educator.

Yes! You can wear two babies in our Chekoh Wrap.

Please note the minimum weight for wear is 3kgs for each infant, and the maximum weight for two babies is 4kgs for each infant.

As this is an advanced carry style and we recommend consulting with a Babywearing Expert before attempting any twin carries.

It is now recommended and supported by certified Babywearing Educators worldwide to have your baby’s legs out from birth.

This will help distribute their weight through their bottom and not rest on their feet.

This position also helps to keep their developing spine supported in a natural ‘C’ curve. Always ensure you create a nice deep seat for your little one. The bottom rail should sit up firm against the back of baby’s knees and promote a squat or ‘M’ position with their bottom positioned lower than their bent knees.

We do not recommend a forward facing carry or back carry when using our Wrap or Sling carriers.

Please only carry your baby as per the instructions included with your carrier.

We also have your comfort in mind so please ensure that your Wrap is tied tight and the fabric spread wide across your back with no twists or flips. Your baby should always be kept close and snug to your body and your carry should adhere to the T.I.C.K.S Safety Guidelines at all times.

The care instructions for your carrier can be found sewn inside the "pocket" of the carrier.

All of our carriers are packed into 100% biodegradable garment bags, so they're fresh and clean for you to use.

If you'd like to give your carrier a quick wash before use, we recommend popping it inside your Chekoh Wash Bag for a cold, gentle wash (no bleach!) and line dry in the shade.

We also suggest washing your carrier separately the first time, just incase the colours aren't completely colourfast.

Sling carrier

Not sure if the Sling Carrier is the best option for you and your baby?

Yes - that's the beauty of an adjustable carrier!

Our Sling Carriers are suitable up to approximately an Australian women's size 24 OR men’s size XXXL.

We recommend using your Chekoh Sling from 3kgs, so right from the beginning.

Babywearing provides the most womb-like environment your little one could be in - all while providing you with hands-free ease!

If your newborn is under 3kgs, born prematurely, or has any health concerns, please consult with your paediatrician or doctor before beginning wear.

We recommend a weight range up to 15kgs or approximately 2 years old.

This will ensure a comfortable and safe carry for both you and baby.

Our Sling Carriers have proudly been deemed 'Hip Healthy' by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute so you can carry with confidence.

We only endorse and promote safe wearing and provide safety guidelines and instructions with every Carrier.

Our Sling Carriers are made from an exclusive, in-house bamboo & linen fabric blend that is breathable, lightweight and soft.

The care instructions for your Sling Carrier can be found sewn inside the "pocket" of the carrier for easy reference.

All of our carriers are packed into the 100% biodegradable garment bags, so they're fresh and clean for you to use.

If you'd like to give your Sling Carrier a quick wash before use, we recommend popping it inside of the Chekoh Wash Bag it arrived in on a cold hand wash cycle (no bleach!) and line dry in the shade.

We also suggest washing it separately the first time, just incase the colours aren't completely colourfast as some darker prints and colours can lighten after the first wash.
